Fay Designs was established in 2003 by Faith Mulenga Kabende out of a passion for Fashion. Faith had a vision to make an impact on the Zambian Fashion scene and was determined to help promote Zambian culture through Fashion.

Fay Designs deals in a wide selection of Fashion lines. The company does Afrocentic as well as western outfits. The outfits are creatively designed by the company’s sole designer and professionally made by the able and qualified tailors.

The company operates from Flat 99 Mulombwa close, off Bwinjimfumu road in the Fairview/ Rhodespark area in Lusaka.

In the seven years that we have been in operation we have made outfits for a vast number of people from across the country. We have also received orders from Zambians in the diaspora. We receive orders from all over Zambia and outside, from countries such as the USA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Germany to name but a few.

Some of our noteable clients include Senior Chieftainesss Nkomeshya, Honorable Sylvia Masebo Honorable Vera Tembo, Angela Nyirenda, the Sakala brothers to name but a few.

We have worked with organizations like National Acts Council, American Tobacco, Ministry of Defense , Ministry of Health, United Nations and European Union.

As a designer, Faith has showcased her designs in the annual Zambia Fashion week. Her designs have also graced the catwalks in South Africa and Algeria.

The company has also sponsored the dresses that have been used in most of the beauty pageants held in the country including Cynthia Kanema’s supermodel and Miss Zambia, Miss Intellect,Miss UNZA as well as shows like the Ngoma awards and the Zambia’s music awards “Born and Bred“. We also dress most of the TV presenters across the country.

Our commitment is to make outfits to the exact measure and fit of our clients. We also strive to achieve superior and quality finishing. We do not just make dresses that make people look and feel good but we also advise our clients on what outfits will best go with their body features.

Our aim is to grow the business so that we can employ and empower more people even as we continue in our quest to make people Fashion happy!
